Loving Ed Sheeran's X album

The first song I ever loved from Ed Sheeran is "Lego House". And while I also liked his duet with Taylor Swift called "Everything Has Changed" and his song "Give me Love", it's his second album X (pronounced as multiply) that I've truly become a true fan.

I love the coolness of his voice - there's something soothing about it that's so easy on the ears, very nice to hear. Let me share with you my favorite songs from the album:

1. Don't

- It's been rumored that this song was written by Ed for Ellie Goulding who allegedly cheated on him with none other than One Direction's Niall Horan.

I reckon she was only looking for a lover to burn
But I gave her my time for two or three nights
Then I put it on pause 'til the moment was right
I went away for months until our paths crossed again
She told me I was never looking for a friend
Maybe you could swing by my room around 10
Baby bring a lemon and a bottle of gin
We'll be in between the sheets 'til the late AM
Baby if you wanted me then you should've just said

Don't fuck with my love
That heart is so cold
All over my home
I don't wanna know that babe

It was never just fun and I thought you were different

2. Sing

I first heard this song when Ed Sheeran did a live performance on The Voice. Catchy song. It quickly became my LSS for awhile.

I want you to be mine, lady
To hold your body close

I need you darling
Come on set the tone
If you feel you're falling
Won't you let me know
Oh-Oh-Oh-Ooh-Oh
Oh-Oh-Oh-Ooh-Oh
If you love me come on get involved
Feel it rushing through you from your head to toe
Oh-Oh-Oh-Ooh-Oh
Oh-Oh-Oh-Ooh-Oh

3.  All of the Stars

Okay so this technically doesn't belong in his X album but I love this song from Ed too so I'm listing it here anyhow.

You're the song my heart is
Beating to

So open your eyes and see
The way our horizons meet
And all of the lights will lead
Into the night with me
And I know these scars will bleed
But both of our hearts believe
All of these stars will guide us home

4.  Thinking Out Loud

I just heard this very recently when Ed Sheeran performed live on The Today Show during their July 4th episode. Instantly fell in love with the song! It makes me want to fall in love. The meaning of the song is just so kaka-inlove like that!

And darling I will be loving you 'til we're 70
And baby my heart could still fall as hard at 23
And I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways
Maybe just the touch of a hand
Oh me I fall in love with you every single day
And I just wanna tell you I am

So honey now
Take me into your loving arms
Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars
Place your head on my beating heart
I'm thinking out loud
Maybe we found love right where we are
