Remember when I told you guys about Blogapalooza being one of the events I was excited about attending back in September? Well, the event finally did happen over the weekend (it got rescheduled due to the monsoon rains that occurred a day before the event was suppose to happen) at SMX Convention Center in SM Aura.

I went with my friend, Jordan who was a first time attendee of the event (it’s my 2nd Blogapalooza event).
I was there early and I was surprised but thrilled to find that Climax was at Blogapalooza. I am such a fan of this masked singer! The band performs at Novu at Greenbelt 3, Makati and this guy’s voice is so smooth and cool to hear! He can cover different songs whether Bruno Mars or Adele effortlessly.

After getting a photo of Climax performing on stage, Jordan and I finally went around visiting the booths.
Chips Ahoy! They have these three new flavors: Dulce de Leche, Root Beer Float and Mint Chocolate Chip. I tried the Mint Chocolate Chip and it’s pretty good. They’re launching these products on October 18 at SM Mall of Asia at the Main Mall Atrium. Those who want to go just needs to purchase a pack upon entry at the Chips Ahoy Ice Cream Creations Launch and it will get you a pass that’s good for 3 persons. The event promises to be filled with exciting shows, games and a chance to get exciting giveaways and prizes.

Maxicare was also at the Blogapalooza. They have these new product offerings – My Maixcare Lite and Maxicare EReady prepaid cards. It’s best for people who are looking to have health plan coverage but can’t afford the full term plans. If you want to know more about these products, you can check out their website.

Jergens!!! This is one of my only two favorite lotion brands and I’ve tried a lot! I’m kind of a lotion addict so this was one of my first stops when I got to SMX.

Among all the freebies I got at Blogapalooza, this one tops my list of course! I also signed up for their 7 day Challenge which I’ve read about on a couple of blogs. I can’t wait to get receive my Jergens challenge kit and get started with that!

Jordan and I also stopped by Natural Quality Corporation’s booth – they’re well known for their food supplements such as the Delite Herbal Tea and Ampalaya Plus where we got invited to play Pinoy Henyo, Didn’t win but it was fun!

Sample products from NQC (Delite Herbal Tea) and YSA Skin and Body Experts (Nice Day Coffee).

Also dropped by the Flawless booth where I played their Pop a Zit game. I’ve never played darts before so I was pretty thrilled to win!

We also dropped by the SKY booth where Jordan and I both played their trivia game. I like trivia games. They’re fun to play though I’m not really very good at it. Haha!

A stop at Caronia got me these three new nail polish shades from their Blue Moon collection. It’s in partnership with Ballet Philippines wherein a portion of the proceeds from this special collection goes to Ballet Philippines Foundation. You can check Caronia’s Facebook (www.facebook.com/CaroniaPH) or follow them on Twitter and Instagram @caroniaph to know more about this special collection.

I took a photo with the giant Caronia bottle on display.

We also dropped by Bioessence booth where we were given a gift certificate to try their back massage or beauty break facial. If we blog about it, we’ll get the chance to be invited to meet Allison Harvard from America’s Next Top Model. Jordan and I are both fans of her so we spared no time in trying out their service. I’ll blog about my experience here separately.

Sample Room was also at the event. When you sign up at Sample Room (membership is free), you’ll get to try different beauty products ranging from skin care to lifestyle products by paying it with your points and then you just need to pay Php100 shipping fee for the products that you wish to avail. Once the products have been shipped out to you, all you have to do is write a review about the product(s) on Sample Room and you’ll earn more points to avail of new products.

I’m already a member of this site since I read about it somewhere online. I just haven’t really availed of any products just yet as the products I like are already out of stock by the time I get around to checking Sample Room… So I guess you need to really be on your toes if you want to get the good products.

One of my all time favorite restaurants, Max’s Restaurant was also there and they gave out limited edition Gilas tumblers to the bloggers who signed up at their booth. And their mascot, Chicky Boy was there and he’s so cute so I just had to take a selfie with the mascot!
Blue Water Day Spa was there as a sponsor as well. They’re celebrating their 9 years already in the spa industry. I like this spa. It gives you that relaxing feeling as soon as you walk in and their spa smells absolutely divine!

Oh and Habitat for Humanity was there to spread the word to the bloggers about their Online Champion Race to 200k to help build typhoon-resilient homes for families displaced by Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) . You can read up more about the projects of Habitat for Humanity and the online champion race at their website. I plan to create a support page to raise funds. I hope you can support me with that endeavor dear readers by donating. You can read more about my cause and donate here.

I didn’t get to check out everything to be honest and I didn’t really come so prepared for this event like I promised myself I would last year when I first went. I didn’t have business cards to hand out – something that I should’ve prepared really since this is a blog to business networking event. Anyway next year… third time’s the charm right?

But I did have fun at the event and so did my friend, Jordan. And I got a few nice freebies and got to know a few interesting brands and products so I definitely have a lot of good things to blog about!
