Sarsa Kitchen and Bar was one of the new restaurants I got to try last month. Some of my workmates and I dined in here for a super late lunch (something that happens often when we have an event). I think it was Eileen, my other pretty media relations officer workmate who suggested we eat here at their Mall of Asia branch after our event at City of Dreams. Sarsa’s first branch is at Bonifacio Global City.
Sarsa according to what I’ve googled, is by Chep JP “Jayps” Anglo. Sarsa, which serves Filipino food and Negrense (Negros) food is his first restaurant venture in Metro Manila.
Let me tell you my experience dining here…
We got to the place at past three in the afternoon on a weekday. I went back here on a weekend and it was a different story! The place was packed with people.
A few more shots of what the place looks like:
And these are what we ordered:

Isaw (Chicken Intestine) |
Until that day, I’ve never in my life eaten isaw before. I’m a picky eater. But Eileen forced me to taste it. This isaw may not taste bad and it might for some even taste real good but I still don’t like it. But hey, at least now I can say I ate this crunchy chicken intestine right?

Sizzling Kansi – sizzling bulalo
|
Oh that sizzling bulalo was gooood! Sinfully delicious that you’d want to order more rice to eat it all or just simply snack on it when you finish your rice.

Leche del Cielo |
For dessert, we ordered leche flan. It tasted differently from the usual leche flans I’ve had in the past and it’s because of the lemon grass syrup on it. It gave the leche flan a minty flavor to it. Still sweet to eat which is what matters anyway.
Here’s a sample of their menu. They’re reasonably priced for food that’s already good for sharing.
My work colleagues and I had a hearty heavy lunch at Sarsa. We were all tired and famished from working and we dragged our butts to Mall of Asia just to eat here but the effort was so worth it. I’m definitely coming back to this place!
