I started the year by attending a wedding. This is the second year in a row that I’ve done that. Last year, I was one of the secondary sponsors to my eldest cousin’s (mother’s side) wedding. The motif then was green and white. See what I wore then! This year, it was a friend of mine who got married.
Oh what a chic wedding it was! Guests were asked to come in floral cocktail dresses for the ladies and the guys were asked to come dressed in white long sleeves (folded in 3/4) and khaki pants. Her reception was at The Mango Farm, specifically the garden area, so ladies were asked not to wear heels. Well, pointed heels. Block heels were allowed.
Look at how fashionably glam we are!

Ardent peeps with the beautiful bride, Nicole and Max, the wedding coordinator
I know Nicole from work and we got close when I was still doing client servicing for PR accounts, she was usually my media relations buddy. Among everyone else in our group, Nicole’s the one who gets me the most. We just really share the same mindset about a lot of things!
The glowing bride, Nicole and her dashing groom, Nikko
Sunflowers are her favorite. Such a lovely and unique bouquet!
For this special occasion, I bought an outfit from Zalora but used my existing shoes. Got my hair done at Blo Blow Dry Bar and did my own makeup – except for my perfect brows and eyeliner which were done by the nice salesladies at SM Department Store!
This dress is actually not a cocktail dress. It’s longer that that! So I had the hems temporarily sewed just a few inches above the knee to comply with the dress code.
I had my photographer friend, Raymond, take this shot. My friend, Eileen, actually photo bombed this pic. Luckily, she could be edited out with Snapseed!😆😂
