As avid reader, I keep a list of books I want to read and it keeps growing! Let’s talk about some of the new books I’ve got on my reading list. The books I’m listing down here may or may not be new releases but they’re definitely new on my list!

James Patterson’s The President’s Daughter

Book Description

There’s a new administration in the White House. But it’s the previous First Family who tops an international assassin’s hit list.

Why I’ve Got this on my To Be Read List

I read and enjoyed The President is Missing last year so I’m thrilled about this new collab between Bill Clinton and James Patterson. Patterson is one of my favorite authors and his first book collab with former US President Clinton was so good. And that’s why I’m putting this on my to be read list.

Sophie Kinsella’s Love Your Life and The Party Crasher

Love Your Life Book Description [From GoodReads]

An utterly delightful novel about a young woman who ditches her dating app for a writer’s retreat in Italy—only to find that real love comes with its own filters.

The Party Crasher Book Description [From GoodReads]

A humorous and heartwarming novel about family, set against the backdrop of the most fabulous party you’ve ever snuck into.

Why I’ve Got this on my To Be Read List

Well any new book from this author is instantly on my TBR list. She’s one of my favorite authors! Her books are light to read with lead characters that are usually amusing!

Mitch Albom’s Finding Chika and The Stranger in the Lifeboat

Finding Chika Book description [From GoodReads]

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Tuesdays With Morrie comes Mitch Albom’s most personal story to date: an intimate and heartwarming memoir about what it means to be a family and the young Haitian orphan whose short life would forever change his heart.

The Stranger in the Lifeboat book description [From GoodReads]

What would happen if we called on God for help and God actually appeared? In Mitch Albom’s profound new novel of hope and faith, a group of shipwrecked passengers pull a strange man from the sea. He claims to be “the Lord.” And he says he can only save them if they all believe in him.

Why I’ve Got this on my To Be Read List

Mitch Albom is also another favorite author of mine. I’ve read all of the books he’s written since Tuesdays with Morrie and found them all to be wonderful. His stories have themes on faith, love and life. They’re the kind that’ll make you reflect on your own life and may even inspire you.

Delia Ownes’ Where the Crawdads Sing

Book Description [From GoodReads]

In Where the Crawdads Sing, Owens juxtaposes an exquisite ode to the natural world against a profound coming of age story and haunting mystery. Thought-provoking, wise, and deeply moving, Owens’s debut novel reminds us that we are forever shaped by the child within us, while also subject to the beautiful and violent secrets that nature keeps.

Why I’ve Got this on my To Be Read List

I first knew of the book from my Facebook book groups where other bookworms have talked about this book and raved about it in fact. Got me curious! I checked it out when I dropped by the bookstore and thought the plot’s interesting.
