For our second Pamper Me Monday thing, Maila and I watched “Bakit Di Ka Crush ng Crush Mo”. My friend, Ryan had seen the movie and was raving about it. Curious, I invited Maila to see it for our Monday after work bonding.

Well the story is cliche – ugly duckling turned beautiful swan, gets noticed by the handsome guy and they fall in love but I liked this movie. Uber feel good. It’s funny and nakakakilig at the same time. I’m not a fan of Kim Chiu but she sure has comedic acting chops. Funny but not OA and not trying hard either. Very natural. She could pull off the jologs ako character. 
And Xian Lim, well what can I say? Ang pogi talaga!!!!!!  
Such beautiful chemistry these two have on screen. 
I have not read the book yet (I intend to) but there sure are some memorable lines from the movie:

“San po tayo miss?”

“Kung saan pwede makalimot.” 

“Diba pag inlove ka, tanga ka?”
“Do me a favor Sandy. Don’t be needy. Let the man call you first.”

“Sadyang mailap ang hanap ng tunay na pag-ibig. Madaling sabihing mahal kita, madaling isiping mahal ka niya. Pero paano mo malalamang… Eto na, eto na talaga.”

I’m sure a lot of people can relate to this movie. I know I did. Placed in the friend zone. Ouch. That sucks. But as Ramon Bautista said, “The best revenge is to live an awesome life.” 

Anyway, this is an awesome movie to watch with an equally catchy soundtrack. (“,)
