Last year I traveled to Singapore with my family and fell in love with the place for its cleanliness and ease of travel around (SMRT rocks!). I told myself I’d come back to explore more. A year later, I’m back in Singapore this time with a couple of friends.

We flew with Jet Star Asia as we were able to get airfare round trip for a relatively low fare (about Php4,000).

Our hotel, Venue The Lily which is not to be mistaken for The Venue Hotel, both located in Joo Chiat Road in Geylang. It’s a nice hotel with a 7-11 convenience store near it but it’s quite far from the SMRT and a little expensive.

Helix Bridge – It’s a pedestrian crossing that’ll get you to the Marina Bay Hotel area. It looks pretty at night too.

I fell in love even more with Singapore seeing its architecture and I would come back again to see more of this country because there’s really so much more to discover.
