I let myself indulge in some retail therapy this September after promising to myself that I would not be using my credit card for any unnecessary spending last month. Curious to know the things I bought? Then read on!

This backpack from Avon. I bought this to replace my poor, worn down Samsonite backpack. I love this because it’s got a compartment for a laptop and it’s also water resistant (a very important consideration since it’s rainy season). It’s so spacious and it has a lot of compartments which I love because that means I can fit all my stuff including my gym clothes!

This Human Nature Natural Cooling Leg and Body Cream.I super love peppermint lotion! It’s a super relaxing smell! And yes, when you apply it on your body, especially on tired and aching muscles, you’ll feel relief washing over you. I highly recommend this!

And I did some shopping at Sephora during the 9.9 sale, at Watson’s and at the recently held Negros Trade Fair in Glorietta.

1) Avalon Organics Nourishing Lavender Conditioner

Because I have dry hair and I want to improve that. Since I love their Biotin B-Complex conditioner, thought I’d try this too. I use this at night while I use the latter in the morning.

2) Arete earrings

Been eyeing this local brand of accessories since last year. When they came back for the Negros Trade Fair last week at Glorietta, I told  myself it was time to buy the earrings I’ve had my eyes on for so long!

Here’s a closer look at what’s inside the box:

Actually they have so many gorgeous earrings! I wanted to buy more but I stopped myself. Gonna save the others for another time. But check them out by clicking on the link! I guarantee you will find more than just one pair of earrings you’d want to add to cart!😊

3. Burt Bee’s Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia

One of the items I bought from Sephora. I already have a ton of lipsticks and lip balms but I just had to add this to the loot. Its warm berry hue is perfect for weekends when I just don’t feel like putting on any makeup or lipstick but still want to avoid looking pale.

Burt Bee’s in Red Dahlia actually won Cosmo’s 2019 Beauty Awards for Best Tinted Lip Balm.

4.  Pixi Glow Tonic

Also bought from Sephora. I’ve read rave reviews about this product. It has a cult following in the beauty world. They said it’ll help your skin glow so I bought it to see for myself! I mean who wouldn’t want that?

I merely bought the small bottle since this is my first time to try a product with glycolic acid. Just in case it doesn’t work well for my skin, I at least didn’t end up buying a big bottle which cost about a thousand bucks. But so far, so good. I might just buy the bigger size one after I finish this off.

5. Lip Ice

Another lippie product I bought at Watson’s. I used to love applying this on my lips in lieu of a lip gloss. It’s also got the same effect as the gloss only less sticky. I don’t know if it stopped production for awhile or I simply stopped buying before – either way, I bought one again. Also a great alternative to lipstick and no makeup days.

It’s color changeable. When you glide it on your lips, it’s gonna give it a natural sheer pink hue, 10 hours of moisture thanks to its Argan Oil and Beeswax ingredients and it’ll make your lips look fuller and bouncy!

Oh I also bought books from the Manila International Book Fair 2019 which I blogged about here. Haha! Yes, even though I bought so many books from Big Bad Wolf Books earlier this year, I still went and bought new books at MIBF. I’ll find time to read them all.

Anyway, so that’s my September shopping loot.😊
