I was recently introduced to K-beauty brand, barenbliss. I’ve been seeing the brand at Watson’s cosmetics area whenever I’m browsing at the store, and I’ve even got the brand’s lippies in my online cart. I just haven’t checked that out since I’m trying not to buy new lippies for the rest of the year as part of my no-buy list. Luckily, I got a goodie bag from barenbliss, which just celebrated their two-year anniversary in the Philippines.
So I tried out their makeup products on two separate occasions.
This was a spur-of-the-moment activity. I was bored at home and feeling meh. They say wearing makeup and dressing up can lift your spirits up so I did. The weather forecasted a gloomy day because there was a typhoon but thankfully that weekend the sun showed up. I strolled around the park and did a little shopping at the mall.
For this occasion, I went cafe-hopping around Makati. I had brunch and coffee around San Antonio village and then coffee again in the afternoon around Ayala Avenue.

Living in Metro Manila where the weather is mostly humid, I usually don’t put on foundation unless there’s a work event I have to go to or I’m going out at night, which is rare these days. Although a foundation gives full coverage for the face, it feels thicker and heavier on the skin so I often opt for a tinted moisturizer because it’s lightweight so I can wear it daily.

Moist Mochi Paste Powder Blush
One of the easiest way to add color to one’s face is by applying blush. barenbliss’ moist mochi paste powder blush is a cream-to-powder blush. It’s a multipurpose powder blush and it kinda looks like a mochi, doesn’t it? It promises to be a 12-hour long long-lasting waterproof, blendable, and moisturizing solution that melts into skin.
I love that it gives me a natural and dewy flush.
Full Bloom Transferproof Matte Tint
For the pop of color on my lips, I used barenbliss Full Bloom Transfer Proof Matte Tint. This lippie is a creamy matte tint that glides effortlessly for a comfy and long-lasting lip color. Is it really transfer-proof? Yes it is! Once it sets of course. Long-lasting? Well, I would say it’ll last longer if you’re not eating or drinking. It’ll fade when you do though there’s still a hint of stain.

After trying out barenbliss, I can say that I will definitely be buying these products and even recommending it to my friends and family.
