So Taylor Swift Fearless version’s been much talked about online and for good reason! She’s a really talented artist!

Hearing Taylor Swift songs from Fearless took me back to 2008 when my only dilemmas in life were much simpler. “Would I ever hold a regular job?” and “How long would it take to move on from my breakup?” Speaking of breakups, I wanna say that some of her songs have been my breakup soundtracks at some points in my life. In fact, I once blogged about Better Man by Little Big Town which I also super loved at one point. It was written by Taylor Swift. I probably should’ve also given the artist more credit really because they did sing it well!

Okay in my thirty years of existence, I’ve only had one official relationship. But love and romance? Well, I’ve had plenty of that! Crushes galore; mutual feelings but cannot really be kind; And almost-but-not-quite lovers.

So yeah, here I am about to tell you which Taylor Swift songs I played over and over again as I felt deeply every word in her songs.

My Top Three Ultimate Favorite Taylor Swift Songs

1. White Horse

Since I’m currently loving Taylor Swift Fearless version, I’m starting with this song from the same album. When I first heard it, I couldn’t help but feel like she was singing the pain in my heart. I even posted this song on my Tumblr account. Does anyone even have a Tumblr account these days? LOL!

This is such a sad song about a love you thought was right only to realize otherwise. Just like Taytay sang in White Horse, I thought this guy was right for me and so I would take him back every time he came back around wooing me.

Happy endings. But now I know. I’m not a princess. This ain’t a fairy tale. I’m not the one you’ll sweep off her feet. Lead her up the stairwell. This ain’t Hollywood…

And just like the song, I finally realized it wasn’t the love I was looking for.

Now it’s too late for you and your white horse. To come around.

2. Red

Okay, I will say this Red is my favorite album so far. This is the album that solidified my being a Swiftie. And yes I know this is the album where she sang her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. I actually liked them together. Yeah, I was invested in her relationships too!

Anyhow, back to the song! Red has such an upbeat tune to it. But it’s also a heartbreak song. My heartbreak soundtrack in 2018!

Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly.

Taylor compared the love she felt like driving a Maserati, a sports car and that’s exactly how I felt about this particular romance. I fell so hard and so fast. And then it also ended so suddenly.

Losing him was blue, like I’d never known
Missing him was dark gray, all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know
Somebody you never met
But loving him was red
Loving him was red

3. End Game

The last song I played over and over again from Taylor Swift is finally a happy song from her Reputation album. There’s so much hopefulness in love in this song. Exactly how I felt about the guy I was thinking of as I played this song.

I wanna be your endgame
I wanna be your first string
I wanna be your A Team
I wanna be your endgame, endgame

Oh yeah that’s how smitten I was with this guy. While we didn’t become end game, this romance didn’t end on a bad note. This song still makes me smile thinking about those times I thought we could be end game. Someday soon, I hope to also have my own Joe Alwyn. I think he could really be her end game for real.

Did you ever have a Taylor Swift soundtrack on a certain part of your life?
