I went on a walking tour with friends during Maundy Thursday this year. I love attending walking tours! There are so many interesting tidbits of information I pick up from them! One of my favorite walking tours was with the late Carlos Celdran, which was a movie walking tour.
Anyway, if you live in Metro Manila, you know how hot it can get, especially now that summer is in full swing. Where did I find the will to walk under the excruciating heat of the sun? For one thing, the walking tour I went to was held late afternoon at four in the afternoon. But also, I made sure to wear a comfortable yet stylish outfit for the walking tour.

How did I choose the outfit to wear for the walking tour? I knew I wanted to wear a comfortable yet stylish outfit for this particular activity. Even though the walking tour was in the late afternoon, it was still hot outside, so I knew wearing dark colors was out of the question. Since I was going to be walking around a lot, I also wanted to wear a sleeveless top and shorts to let my limbs breathe. And because I was going to be walking under the sun, I wanted to protect my hair and scalp, so I brought a cap. Lastly, I wore sneakers so my feet won’t hurt from so much walking.

I bought the cap from Shopee. It’s a 1989 Taylor Swift cap. My top is from Urban Revivo, which has become one of my favorite retail fashion brands. Of course, I wore my Samsung Galaxy smartwatch to track my steps and easily get notified of incoming calls or messages while walking.

I brought a big tote bag for the walking tour to house my essentials. It’s the Alexander McQueen tote bag I bought from an exhibit I checked out when I visited Melbourne.

The cotton shorts is from Adidas. It’s definitely a comfortable yet stylish outfit for a walking tour. I love how the blue pops out.

Lastly, I wore my Nike Dunk sneakers to finish off my comfortable yet stylish outfit. It’s my first ever Dunk shoes that I bought from extra earnings I made from blogging. I love its pastel colors. I know some say it’s a fashion no-no to pair Adidas and Nike together in one outfit. But I don’t care for that rule.
So that’s what I wore to a 2-hour walking tour around Poblacion with this casual and sporty chic look. Check out more photos of the comfortable yet stylish outfit I wore for the walking tour.
If you want to know more about the Sampiro Kalbaryo walking tour that I did, I wrote about it on my other blog.
