It’s been awhile since I last shared my shopping haul. I rarely did before but I’m changing that. While I’m a little more mindful about my expenses these days, I still do some shopping from time to time. I thought it’d be fun and light just to share what I buy.
Watson’s Shopping Haul
Okay so I’m gonna start with one of my favorite places to shop even before the pandemic. Watson’s! Who can relate to Watson’s budol? I usually come in the store to buy just an item or two and end up with more than what I originally intended to buy! Oh how I miss walking into their store, specially the big ones like in Mall of Asia, and checking out their shelves, browsing item after item and thinking I need this too and so the budol begins!
I shop at Watson’s online more these days so it’s a little less budol than when I go to the actual store. The up side of that is that I can have some cashback since Watsons is a partner merchant of Shopback.
- Veet Hair Removal Cream
To remove unwanted body hair and have silky and smooth skin in 3-6 minutes. Yes, I still bother even though I’m just at home most days.

2. Orahex Mouthwash
Not one of the popular mouthwash out there but my dentist recommended it. She said it would help with the further prevention of tooth decay. I’ve been using this for a while now and you know she’s right! The last time I went to the dentist, last year before the pandemic hit and we all went on quarantine, I was assured my teeth were a-okay, So it’s been worth adding this expense to my budget.

3. Colgate Bamboo Toothbrush
Since becoming more eco-conscious, I’ve switched to using a more eco-friendly tooth brush. I read that you should change your tooth brush every 3 months so I made the switch to bamboo tooth brush. At least it’s not going to add to the plastic waste problem. This is my first time to try Colgate’s bamboo toothbrush. Got the bundled offer since it’s cheaper. I’ve been using this toothbrush for a week now and it is super nice to use! The bristles are so soft! There are other brands I’ve tried which bristles hurt my gums. Super happy about this purchase!

4. Steam Eye Mask
I first discovered this when my friend, Nicole, gave me one as a gift. This is great way to soothe your tired eyes specially when you stare at a computer screen a lot.

You can buy Watsons products here.
My Marta’s Handmade Shopping Haul
So I also bought some body and skincare items. These are all natural products from Marta’s Handmade.
- Exfoliating Cleanser
First off, I replenished my supply of exfoliating cleanser. If you read my recent beauty and wellness emp ties post, then you know I loved this gentle cleanser product.

2. Peppermint Foaming Sugar Scrub
To pamper myself during bath times on weekends, decided to also buy this body scrub. I love its minty smell! Helps wakes my senses in the morning.

3. Lavender Lotion
I have a lot of lotion already. But I bought this specifically to apply on my body in the evening to help me sleep. I’ve had some trouble sleeping which isn’t good at all! Lavender scent is a relaxing scent and have read about its benefits in helping people who have trouble sleeping. I’ve been using it for a few days already. I love the smell and it is a relaxing scent.

Most of the stuff I bought right now are essentials and only a bit on the pampering. I did some more online shopping (Hello 4.4 sale) and I’ll share that too next time.
