Disney+ Shows to Watch in October 2026—and One I’m Already Looking Ahead To

My Disney+ watchlist is getting longer.

October brings a fun mix of returning favorites and brand-new shows to Disney+ Philippines, from a supernatural teen drama and a behind-the-scenes look at KATSEYE to the return of Scrubs and another season of one of my favorite guilty pleasures, The Kardashians.

And because apparently I don’t have enough shows to watch, I’m also looking forward to Only Murders in the Building Season 6 later this year.

If you’re looking for Disney+ shows to watch in October 2026, here are the titles I’m adding to—or keeping on—my watchlist.

Scrubs Season 2

Let’s start with a familiar favorite.

Scrubs Season 2 premieres October 1 on Disney+ Philippines, with two new episodes dropping on premiere day followed by a new episode every week.

J.D., Turk, and Elliot have moved up from interns to respected doctors at Sacred Heart, but their new status doesn’t mean they’ve left hospital chaos behind. The new season follows them as they balance their careers, relationships, and the responsibility of inspiring the next generation of doctors.

Zach Braff returns as J.D. Dorian, alongside Donald Faison as Christopher Turk and Sarah Chalke as Elliot Reid. The revival also brings back familiar characters while introducing new ones.

I like the idea of seeing what happens when characters we once knew as young doctors-in-training finally become the experienced ones. It gives the revival a chance to revisit the humor and heart of Scrubs while moving everyone into a new stage of their lives.

Season 1 is already streaming on Disney+, so you have time to catch up before the new episodes arrive.

Coven Academy

If you’re looking for something completely new, Coven Academy might be worth adding to your list.

The supernatural teen drama takes place at an elite magic boarding school in New Orleans, where teenage witches and warlocks deal with supernatural powers, dangerous secrets, complicated relationships, and forbidden romance.

The story follows Briar, played by Malina Weissman, a fiercely independent New Yorker who discovers that she’s a witch and must learn to control her newfound powers.

Things get even more complicated when she finds herself caught between Jake, a magnetic warlock played by Malachi Barton, and Ollie, a newly turned vampire played by Louis Thresher.

The cast also includes Tiffani Thiessen as Miss Graves, the school’s glamorous and formidable head, and Devon Sawa as a charismatic warlock professor.

Created by Tim Federle, Coven Academy mixes magic, mystery, teen drama, and romance—basically, several things I can easily get behind in one show.

Even better, Disney+ Philippines will release the full first season on October 2, so this could become an easy weekend binge.

The Kardashians Season 8

I have already written about this one, but obviously I’m putting it on this list anyway.

Because The Kardashians is one of my guilty-pleasure shows—and at this point, I’m not even particularly guilty about it.

I’m a fan of the Kardashian-Jenner family, so I will happily keep checking in on Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie as they move through their latest chapters.

Season 8 arrives October 8, with the family navigating love, reinvention, new relationships, old wounds, and independence as they continue building their respective empires.

What keeps me watching isn’t just the glamorous lifestyle. I’ve followed this family for years, so there’s something entertaining about seeing how their lives, relationships, careers, and family dynamics continue to evolve.

Seasons 1 through 7 are already streaming on Disney+ Philippines, so there’s plenty of Kardashian content if you’re ready for a binge.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS

Then there’s something for the pop girlies.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS arrives on October 16 on Disney+ Philippines, taking viewers behind the scenes of the global girl group’s journey from Dream Academy to international pop success.

The documentary features never-before-seen footage, fan videos from EYEKONS, and intimate interviews with the members. It also explores the bond between KATSEYE and the fans who helped build the group’s global following.

I especially like the idea of seeing what happens behind the polished performances and viral moments. The film looks back at the pressure, setbacks, sacrifices, and breakthroughs that shaped KATSEYE.

Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the documentary arrives after KATSEYE’s limited theatrical run, the launch of their WILDWORLD TOUR, and the release of their third EP, WILD.

If you’re a fan—or simply curious about how a new global pop group builds its identity—this one belongs on the list.

Only Murders in the Building Season 6

And finally, this is dropping later than October, but I’m already looking forward to it: Only Murders in the Building. I’ve also shared previously that this is one of my favorite Disney+ series. So naturally, I’m keeping Season 6 on my watchlist.

This time, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel leave the Arconia and head across the Atlantic for their next mystery. The sixth season takes the beloved crime-solving trio to London, marking the first time the series moves them out of New York City.

The new case begins when Cinda Canning arrives at their doorstep and summons them to London to catch her killer.

That alone is enough to get my attention.

I’ve loved how Only Murders in the Building combines murder mystery, comedy, friendship, fashion, and a strong sense of place. Now we’re getting all of that—with London as the backdrop.

So while this one isn’t an October release, it’s definitely one I’m keeping on my Disney+ radar.

My Disney+ Watchlist Is Officially Full

So there you have it: four titles arriving in October and one very exciting December return.

I’ll be heading back to Sacred Heart with Scrubs, stepping into the magical world of Coven Academy, checking in with the Kardashian-Jenner family, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at KATSEYE.

Then, a little later, I’ll be packing my imaginary bags for London with Charles, Oliver, and Mabel.

Different genres, completely different vibes, but that’s exactly what I want from my streaming queue.

Now I just need to find the time to watch everything.
